St Helen’s Church is a beautiful location for your Church Wedding. Please contact the Vicar – or visit us – to discuss your hopes and plans. If you would like to have a look around the church building online, here is a 3 minute video taken one bright Autumn afternoon.
We have a good church organ and keyboard to accompany singing and an excellent choir is normally available. The following pieces are a selection of traditional bridal entry and wedding party exit music, recorded on the church organ, to provide future wedding couples with ideas for when choosing their entry and exit music.
- Bridal Chorus – Richard Wager (1813-1883)
- Wedding March – Felix Mendelssohn (1809-1847)
- Arrival of the Queen of Sheba – G. F. Handel (1685-1759)
- The Prince of Denmark’s March – Jeremiah Clarke (1674-1707)
The clergy are at hand to provide advice on service plans as you prepare for your big day. Weddings at St Helen’s Church usually last approximately 45 minutes.
If you would like to discuss your wedding, please contact the vicar.
